We sit at 1,400 metres in Chiora, high in the Georgian Caucasus, with mountains on every side and the trails of upper Racha starting at the door. Every room looks out at the mountains, our kitchen cooks traditional Rachan food fresh each day, and the season runs from mid-June to September. You can rent a car, hire a private transfer, or take a marshrutka (minibus) to Oni, where there are plenty of taxis available to take you the rest of the way to Chiora village. Early September brings the beginning of fall colors and the grape harvest season. We have a small slide for kids, and the village setting is safe and peaceful with plenty of open space to explore. We're often full of families with children, so your little ones will likely have playmates. What is included in the room price?+ Direct-booking rates start at 170 GEL per night for two guests on a weekday, without breakfast; prices vary with the season, weekends, and group size, and children under 9 stay free. The rate includes a private bathroom, hot water, heating, linens, towels, and free parking. Breakfast, lunch, and dinner are available at our on-site restaurant for an additional cost — breakfast is 20 GEL per person.
